Majete Wildlife Reserve is located in Malawi, about 70km south-west of Blantyre, the nearest town with an international airport.

Vehicle hire options are available in Blantyre. From Blantyre, take the road to Chikhwawa and follow the signs to Majete Wildlife Reserve. When arriving in Chikhwawa turn right at the T-junction. The road between Chikhwawa Boma and the park is about 20km down an all season dirt road which is accessible throughout the year. The total journey takes approximately 1.5 hours in total. We recommend using a 4x4 vehicle during the wet season months and a high-clearance vehicle during the rest of the year.
