Nkondo Camp

Situated two hours' drive from the wetlands on the fork in the road that leads either to Mpika (Great North Road) or Kasanka (Samfya Road), this camp is ideal as a stop-over and will be the eventual base for wildlife translocation into the area. It is also the Bangweulu Wetlands headquarters. It offers six en-suite tents, a large dining room and a fully functional kitchen for use. Only a self-catering option is available.

Nsobe Community Camp Site, Chikuni

This camp is on the edge of the Chimbwe Plains where great herds of black lechwe, tsessebe and zebra tend to congregate. The wetlands are easily accessible from this camp and boating trips can be arranged. The camp itself is community managed and you will require your own tents, equipment and supplies. It offers a central braai (barbeque) area and toilets, showers, firewood and water are available.
