Getting to Nagero by vehicle could prove to be quite challenging, especially during the wet season (June to December). A UN-run project is currently underway to repair the 300km stretch of road between Aru (at the Ugandan border) and Nagero. However, for the moment, a charter is advised. The park headquarters has an airstrip that can accommodate a small aircraft. The coordinates are N3º 44' 42 E 29º 30' 38.1.
Visitors could also arrange to be picked up at Aru with the park aircraft. It is a 50-minute flight between Aru and Nagero.
