The Board of African Parks Foundation (APF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Peter Fearnhead as the new Chief Executive Officer of the foundation with immediate effect.

Mr. Fearnhead is based in South Africa and has a long track record of very successful conservation activities and will transfer the governance of the foundation towards Africa. As one of the original founders of APF, Mr. Fearnhead’s mandate will be to reinforce African Parks’ vision of sustainable conservation based on business principles with a focus on results.

With the financial assistance and participation of other individuals and institutions, African Parks expects to be able to grow the portfolio of parks and management for the benefit of both conservation and people.
