Fiston joined African Parks in 2017 after 2 years working in the forestry and tourism sectors and after obtaining a first-class diploma in Wildlife Management. Fiston's enthusiasm for his work is palpable and in 2022, Fiston became Community Liaison Manager. Fiston holds different training certificates in a variety of fields, including climate change, business management, leadership, and communication, always eager to expand his knowledge. Fiston is at the forefront of African Parks strategy to harness the power of data to guide community engagement, tracking the impact of the various community programs, ensuring their effectiveness and maximizing benefits for local communities.
