Stichting African Parks Foundation (SAPF) – Amsterdam, The Netherlands

African Parks is represented in Europe by Stichting African Parks Foundation (SAPF), with its main office in Amsterdam. The SAPF team represents African Parks throughout Europe. Its key focus is on servicing and growing the European network of supporters, which consists of private individuals, Foundations, Institutions, Governments and other  organisations that are interested in supporting the work of African Parks.

There are many ways to assist our conservation activities and we welcome a discussion on how you would like to contribute. Donations made via SAPF are often tax deductible. Sophie Vossenaar (sophiev@african-parks.org) and Tineke Floor (tinekef@african-parks.org), our joint Directors of Fundraising in Europe, will happily guide you in deciding whether and how a donation to African Parks would be most meaningful to you and in clarifying how to make a tax-efficient gift according to the fiscal laws in your country. You can also call our SAPF office (+31 (0) 343 565 019) to learn more about our work and the various ways in which you can make a difference.

Donating to African Parks from other European countries besides the UK and the Netherlands:

European countries have different rules when it comes to tax-efficient philanthropic giving. Most European countries do not grant income tax deductibility to donors wanting to support a foreign beneficiary in another member state. For that reason, African Parks has in place arrangements in a number of countries through the Transnational Giving Europe (TGE) programme.

Donors are able to make tax-efficient donations in their home country using the bank account of the TGE partner, who will provide any fiscal receipt needed for national tax purpose and take care of the international transaction to African Parks, avoiding gift taxes. TGE offers its services in 19 European countries. Please visit: www.transnationalgiving.eu for more information.
